Both grew up under the northern lights, familiarizing themselves with the rugged beauty of Lapland. They learned the secrets of wilderness skills from a young age and became resilient and hardy, earning the moniker 'northern Spartans' after completing their military service in Ivalo. To this day, the cousins spend their free time fishing, hunting, and respecting the bounty of the northern wilderness.

Upon founding Hellou Travel, Toni and Hannu decided to share the magical world of the north with others. Their programs offer authentic experiences that combine local heritage, wilderness skills, and genuine Lapland hospitality.
